My name is Chris O’Malley and I’m the founder and producer of Workshop Digital. My story starts in the 1990s where I began to learn how to record music at home and at the same time, began diving into the world of photography. Fast forward 10 years or so where a local church decided to take a chance on me and hired me on to their media department. That’s where my real education began. I began to see the world through the eyes of a camera lens and observe how sound interacts with us and our environment every day. My world of photography gained some movement when I was thrust onto a video team where I learned to direct, shoot, produce, and edit exciting films and other content. As the artistic side of me was growing so was the analytical and strategic side. I began learning about audio and video systems and how they work and integrate into rooms. I learned how to turn a completely empty space and transform it into a fully functional and aesthetically pleasing production. A few years later I founded Workshop Digital as a place where I could serve using all of the disciplines I had learned over the years. It is our aim at Workshop Digital to be comprehensive and easy to work with with the client in mind at all times. Thank you for visiting us today and I hope we are able to work together soon!
